JavaScript is used by many of the pages on this site to provide services for you to use. To enable JavaScript for your browser, find it on this list and follow the directions.

Note: Pressing the Alt key once will display the browser's text based main menu.

Internet Explorer

  1. From Internet Explorer's main menu (gear icon) choose Tools then select Internet Options.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. On the Security tab click the Custom level... button.
  4. When the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog appears, scroll to the Scripting section.
  5. In the Active Scripting choose Enable.
  6. When the Warning window appears asking Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone? choose Yes.
  7. Then click the OK button.
  8. Click on Internet Explorer's Refresh button to reload the page.


  1. From Chrome's main menu (Customize and control Google Chrome, tool icon) choose Options.
  2. On the Google Chrome Options tab select the Under the Hood item.
  3. In the Privacy section click the Content settings... button.
  4. On the Content settings dialog find JavaScript section and select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended).
  5. Close the Google Chrome Options tab.
  6. Click on Chrome's Reload this page button to reload the page.


  1. From FireFox's main menu (Firefox icon) and then select Options.
  2. On the Options dialog select the Content tab.
  3. Check the Enable JavaScript box and then click the OK button.
  4. Click on the FireFox's Reload current page button to refresh the page.


  1. From Safari's main menu choose Edit and select Preferences.
  2. Or click on the gear icon and select Preferences tab.
  3. On the Preferences dialog select the Security tab.
  4. In the Security tab Web content section check the Enable JavaScript box.
  5. Close the Preferences dialog.
  6. Click on Safari's Reload the current page button to refresh the page.
